When Jesus was asked to reduce everything in the Bible into one command He said, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind… and you shall love your neighbor as yourself.” What if Jesus meant that we should love our actual neighbors? This is why, as a church family, we're responding to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) crisis, not by panicking, but by serving our neighbors that are in need.
2 Corinthians 1:4 says, “God comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.”
Neighboring during COVID-19
We want to encourage you to reach out and love your neighbors during this stay at home time. Print as many Neighbor Contact Cards as you like, and deliver them to your neighbors using proper social distancing guidelines.
Download this COVID-19 Neighboring Toolkit for more creative ways to reach out to your neighbors.
