Outreach
With a desire to live out the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20) and the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:37-40), we ask God to help us intentionally search for opportunities to "reach out" to offer hope to those in need, physically and spiritually. This may come in a variety of methods and settings, sometimes through partnerships with other ministries, through personal evangelism, through good works and acts of mercy, and the distribution of God's Word. It is our joy, in the power of the Spirit, to go, love, and care and tell, sacrifice, give, and share the Good News, trusting God for the salvation of souls and transformation of lives.
Believing God has directed us to this community, we have strategically and intentionally entered into a relationship, adopting Irving Elementary School for the 2011-12 school year. Our mission is to bring the Word of God to west Bloomington through service and friendship, helping to build a better community for the glory of God. Believers are called and privileged to represent Christ and to share the Gospel right where we are. Our goal is to train and equip you to this end, and to provide you with resources and opportunities as you reach out with truth to people in your sphere of influence, whether it’s co-workers, neighbors, family, or others with whom you have contact in your community or day-to-day business.
