For those who are separated or divorced
This is a special 13 week seminar offered periodically throughout the year. It takes a long time and a lot of work to heal the pain that comes with the breakup of a marriage. If you know someone going through a divorce, make sure they know about DivorceCare.
Summer 2012: A session of DivorceCare will be offered at Eastview Christian Church, beginning May 10 at 6:30 PM in Room 123.
DC4K provides a safe, fun, place where your children will work through the healing process after separation and divorce. Children will learn to understand their feelings, express their emotions appropriately, develop coping skills, and make friends with other kids who understand how they feel. Most importantly, children will learn of the love that the Lord has for them, and rediscover hope through the power of Jesus.
DC4K is open to the community, and dinner is provided free of charge. A $15 donation is suggested to cover the cost of the workbooks, but there are discounts for families with multiple children, and scholarships are available. DC4K will meet at the same time as the adult DivorceCare program, and nursery is always available for younger children. Contact with questions. You may register here.
