Toddlers
Two year olds have their own specific needs as they learn that God is their loving creator who provides and cares for them. Our programs designed especially for 2-3 year olds (Toddler Church and Toddler Sunday School) help give these little ones age appropriate opportunities to experience God, His Son, Jesus Christ and God’s true Word, the Bible. Toddler programming is available for little ones who are 2 years old by August 31 of the current year. All toddler classes are staffed by teachers who have been screened and approved to teach the children.
Toddler Church, 9:00 AM
Toddler Church meets in rooms 114 and 116 at 9:00 AM on Sunday mornings. It is designed to be our Toddlers’ “first church” experience. Through the curriculum the children learn by touching, hearing, seeing, doing, and moving! We desire to teach little hands as we train little hearts! Each Sunday, the children begin Toddler Church by singing praises to God, sharing their coins with God, looking at their Bible words, and praying. They then begin a time of discovery through several curriculum units. These units include: Creation, God Made Me, Families, David, Baby Moses, Noah, Baby Jesus, Easter, and the Prodigal Son. The children hear a Bible lesson, make a craft and have a snack during this time.
Toddler Sunday School, 10:30 AM
Discovering, experiencing and engaging in opportunities to share God’s love continue for 2-3 year olds in Toddler Sunday School at 10:30 AM in rooms 114 and 116. The children sing, learn Bible words by “saying” and “doing,” discover God’s Word by hearing a Bible story and experiencing it with pictures, flannel graph figures and hand held manipulatives, create a craft and have a snack each Sunday morning.
