ACORN Children's Ministry
“They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of His splendor.” Isaiah 61:3
From just a tiny acorn God grows the magnificent oak tree; mighty, strong and deeply rooted. At East White Oak Bible Church we consider our children to be somewhat like the acorn. When they are nurtured and lovingly and properly cared for they have great potential to grow into strong, mighty followers of Christ who are deeply rooted in the Word of God. In that spirit, we have entitled our children’s department “ACORN Children’s Ministry.”
The Five Purposes of ACORN Children's Ministry:
The teachers and helpers in Sunday morning programming depend on the Spirit of God to provide opportunities for the children in their ministry to experience each of the five purposes of ACORN Children’s Ministry.

Accept Christ as Savior and Lord
C
Celebrate God through passionate, sincere worship
O
Obediently live in response to the instruction from God’s Word
R
Reach out to others through meaningful Christian service
N
Nurture faith building, Christian friendships with peers and adults
