“Precept Upon Precept: Genesis Part 2 The Fall, the Flood, and the Nations”

Thursday mornings (9:30am) and evenings (6:30pm)
Adam and Eve, the serpent and an apple? Noah’s Ark and a worldwide flood? The Tower of Babel? Are these real or imagined? Stories or fact? What difference does it make anyway?
Genesis holds the keys to understanding the origin of sin and evil, the justice of God’s judgment, and the mercy of God’s plan for the redemption of mankind and hope for a lost and dying world. Truths found in chapters three through eleven of Genesis lays a solid foundation for the rest of the story.
Available in traditional Precept Upon Precept® study or the new In & Out® format, which is a streamlined approach to the same material but requires fewer hours of study time. Each In & Out® study follows the corresponding Precept Upon Precept® study so students can participate in the same discussion groups and lectures.
Eight week classes on Thursdays, June 6 - August 1, at 9:30:-11:30 AM or 6:30-8:30 PM, Room 170. Precept Upon Precept Workbooks - $15.75, In & Out Workbooks $12.25 Questions? Contact Lynny Wegman Register online.

"Discover Together: Ecclesiastes" by Sue Edwards

Thursday mornings (9:30am) and evenings (6:30pm)
Ecclesiastes can be a difficult book. The writer laments on the meaninglessness of life, the pointlessness of work, and the lack of connection from generation to generation. Where is the hope? This study walks you through Ecclesiastes to discover an optimistic outlook on life. Any woman who wants to spend her days on what truly matters, from new believer to veteran of the faith, will emerge from this inductive study better equipped to live joyfully and choose well in our complex, demanding, and sometimes even grim world. This is a great option for those participating in reading through the Bible at the Oak this year as it complements the summer reading.
We’ll discuss the first chapter on June 6. For those who register in time, we plan to distribute books starting May 26th. Eight week classes on Thursdays, June 6 - August 1, at 9:30-11:30 AM or 6:30-8:30 PM, Book costs $11. Pick up your book on May 26th or June 2 to be ready for the first week. Questions?
